Is it really pure bliss ?

We all struggle with our fear. Some of us are afraid to speak publicly. Some are afraid of rejection. Other are afraid of failure. And it's pretty normal for everyone. But are those things really scary or is it just in our heads? Have you ever taken a moment to think what if? What if I spoke up? What if I went to that sky diving activity? What if I tried that new career? Just like going to the dentist or getting a flu shot as a kid, You go in thinking it's the end of the world. But as soon as the doctor takes out that tooth or as soon you get the shot. You feel like the stupidest kid on earth. "How can I exaggerate something that is so easy to do". "It wasn't as scary as I thought". The very well-known actor Will Smith once said in a video that after you overcome your biggest fear, you experience pure bliss. I myself am scared of public speaking. I get anxious and nervous and I sweat like a pig. I've always experienced this and it caused me problems through my university years and in my job. But lately I realized that I push away great opportunities just because of that mere fear of mine. Yesterday, as I was watching one of my favorite scriptwriters Shonda Rhimes give a Ted speech, I decided to follow her advice. First of all, if you don't know who Shonda Rhimes is. She's the writer behind the greatest TV hit series Grey's anatomy and Scandal and the producer of the show How to get away with murder?. She talked about how she started saying YES to everything that scared and challenged her and how that changed her life and skyrocketed her career. Her work is seen worlwide and she's now one of the most paid screenwriters in the business. Now I'm starting this challenge on my own. I already said my first two "YES"s and I'm extremely excited to share what this challenge brings to my life in the blog. I encourage anybody reading this right now. Think about what your life would've been. Think about what you could still achieve. Say Yes and let the world take you by storm. Say yes and be what you're truly meant be. I would love to hear back from you in the comments. Challenge yourselves and share with us in the comments what you felt during the process. Is it really pure bliss?

Have a great day whoever and wherever you are.
